the wound on her lip is healing, but it seems she is healing alot slower than mr.tubbins

this is what she does when she is very irritated with me

alright, enough of toby. here's mr.tubbins

this photo, however blury, makes me assume he is a male (along with the fact that toby tried to kill him)

heres his tail wound, almost fully healed in less than two weeks :D

Mr.tubbins is always very interested in my son, if he hears my son babble he will come out and watch him play....very cute.

and cant forget Beetlejuice!!! she is also in shed, should be any day now, been eagerly awaiting it!!!!

she is the most layed back chill skink ive ever had, she can be pretty nasty in her cage though, huffing and lunging (no tongue displays though :? ) but once she is out she is such a sweetie.

these are the setups i have going right now, they are working out great. used a metal rack from target and slid 175 gallon tubs in each slot, mounted lights on the bottom of each shelf and ziptied everything for security. snapped the lids in half for protection from my son and to ad a little extra heat gradient inside. I use shoe boxes or tupperware containers for a cool hide. Toby is very attached to her tupperware container (which i call her stinky box  ) in the shoebox I line the bottom with tiles that stay cool and throw in a moist cloth when shedding arrives. the tiles in the middle are the second hide, and then theres the basking spot. Im using the cheap outdoor carpet as substrate, i like it better than the astroturf and its really easy to clean. water bowls are up top the tiles for now until they both heal up good, tobys will probably stay there, she likes to smear poop on the sides so it might be permanent for her. Im thinking about using some wood board to mount on the sides and back of the rack so they feel a little more secure, but im still drafting ideas. hopefully ill have enough money come tax season to get some boamasters.

Usually its only for a few seconds but if I wake her up or she's in shed she will continue to hang out her tongue until I stop handling her, usually lasts about 10 to 20 seconds if she's really irritated.

I like that set up quite a lot! What are the dimensions of those tubs?

So glad to hear the tail healed up so nicely and quickly!

Good to see the set ups, those look great. Should be good inspiration to some others. You should get a good pic and submit it to the photo contest! :D

Great to hear about the tail.
