Got four of them out in the sun today (the rest were napping). The two girls are so mellow and laid back that I leave them out for quite a while and will let them be out at the same time. The boys are a bit more skittish and get much more supervision! Which is why Jaxi and Callie get to explore the shrubs and hang out, while the boys get to sun themselves but not get anywhere too prickly or hard to reach. :wink:

Really? Have any pictures? I'd be very curious to see them. Good to know Simon isn't the only one - bits of substrate do get stuck but most of the time his jaw seems fine and the stomatitis appears to be completely healed.

When he gets mouth rot? Isn't mouth rot something he might unfortunately get once and then it is healed and so doesn't reoccur? Simon's mouth is healed now but the gap is still there because the stomatitis was allowed to go untreated for quite some time before I got him and caused permanent damage. But it isn't something that should reoccur.

Well he has an eye infection and eye caps and whenever he licks his eyes the infections spreads to his mouth. But they are both being treated and the mouth rot is gone and the eye caps are gone. Im just waiting for the small particles of...stuff to leave his eye naturally then he will be all better :D
