So lately I have been keeping a close eye on raptor, mainly because he hasn't pooed in 10 days. Raptor is still moving, basking on his rock, and going under his house rock a few times a day as usual. He has eaten almost all his food the past 3 feedings, and I have sifted through the substrate in hopes to find a buried poo, no such luck.
However I do know he is just about to shed, he has turned real dark and chalky looking, and its been a little over a month since his last shed. He lost the scale on the tip of his nose so I know shed time is here.
Anyways, I'm assuming his lack of going to the bathroom has to do with it shed time?? Could this be a possibility? If so why would shedding make him not go?? I thought he might be impacted but I haven't changed his diet at all & he is still eating. Temps are pretty much the same as when I got him, besides it being a tad cooler thanks to ac and a heat index outside of 115 F I haye kentucky weather lol
Any input?
Thanks guys
