bathtime?

Postby Linnea » Tue Apr 05, 2011 8:29 am

Litchie has been hiding a lot these past two days, so i put some of those apple pieces outside his hide, only to see that he had poop on his tummy.

btw, i need another way to feed him apple in proper sizes, he couldnt pick the pieces up so he licked at them XD

anyways, main problem.....is it bath time for litchie the skink? will he be upset if i try to soak him a little?

Why would you want to bath him? Skinks don't need regular baths, so unless you want to help remove stuck shed or something.

If there is no reason for a bath, then don't bother. It will just stress him out for no reason.

Not bathe him even when there's poop stuck on his tummy?

Kat probably missed the part about the dirty belly. Yes, you can give him a soak in a couple inches of warm water, or just take a damp paper towel and wipe it off.

Not sure what you're asking in regards to the apple pieces...?
Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

im sorry, i wrote that more than just a little incoherent D:

ill go with the damp paper towel, seems less stressful.

ah, ignore the apple part...i dont eat apples myself so i found it hard to make them into proper sizes and ended up making them too thin.
