Thanks! I'd probably be paranoid about taking a little one out. These guys are usually pretty slow but I imagine the little ones can be quick if they get their eye on a nice place to hide.

yeah, i know he can dart if he wants to, and he wouldn't have far to be through an iron fence and in the woods on our pet walk trail at the apartment complex.

Thanks! He doesn't have as much orange on him as the other, but what he lacks in color he makes up for in personality. He's the cuddler of the two. The smaller one, Freckles, is always exploring something and has no time for cuddling. :)

I did find out that Wings has this weird thing for gravel. I had read it on the caresheet, but didn't experience it til yesterday. Thought I would try a different setting..gravel driveway. Wrong! Kept having to pick the gravel out of Wings mouth and never did get one picture taken!

It's amazing Austin loves Wings so much. We took Wings along to get ice cream last night and he peed on Austin right as soon as we pulled back in our driveway. He tried to hold it til we got home! At least we had "the towel". We've learned, no matter if Wings just went, never go anywhere without "the towel".

Aw well, at least it was pee, which is pretty much just water.

Wouldn't have been nice the other way, in an enclosed car. :hurl:

When we took ours for their last vet check, I made sure I took some extra pillow cases because Ralphie's a super dooper pooper. Sure enough, within 10 mins on the road he went all through his pillow case so I leaned into the back of the car to get a clean one ....... but they were still sitting at home on the dining table

I took him out of his pillow case and threw it on the back seat and he just wandered the box they were in, but it seeped through the bag onto the other two. It was a collosal mess and when we got to the vet, we were just so totally pleading 'they're normally clean, we keep them clean, they don't normally look and smell like this, honest ... '

And to make it worse, by the time we got back to the car, after it sitting in the sun for half an hour or so, we opened the door and it just stunk like poo because I'd put the soiled one on the back seat and we had to sit by the side of the road for 10 mins to air it out. Not a great morning, that one.

:hurl: You're lucky they didn't turn you into some animal protection orginization.

Ya know...I think I'm going to go ahead and stick a few extra pillowcases in my van RIGHT NOW so they will always be there. I always carry one with me anyways in case there is some roadside rep that needs rescuing, lol. But a few more might be a good idea.
