Peter banded skink help!
I purchased a peter banded skink a few weeks ago and I’m worried about him. His hips look thin and I never see him eat. I have tossed crickets in there, fed him cat food, thrown some greens I. There, scrambled eggs. They told me the moisture should be about 60% I have kept it around 50% with the misting it every evening. I also have his hot side hitting 115. When I showed them his hips looked they told me he was dehydrated so I been soaking him every other night. He’s pretty alert and whenever I dig him up in the evenings to check on him he just try’s to burrow. Is there something I need to do more? I’m new to skinks so I’m super nervous I don’t want him to perish!

try gut loading some crickets with "cricket quencher" sot hat they have water in them as he eats them. May help hydrate him
