Corucia zebrata (Monkey-Tailed Skink)

Postby mb606587 » Fri Jan 31, 2020 11:17 am

Some photos of my 2.5 year old male. They get the name from how the prehensile tail will wrap around your arm for support. Amazing species if you can manage to get your hands on one.

What a cool looking guy, love monkey tailed skinks!

My town has one in their zoo, and they seem like really interesting animals... they're also one of the only animals that I can think of that can safely eat pothos.

Well that "male" turned out female after I witnessed her mating. And the results...
