Solomon Island ground skink
First time I've seen one or even known of their existence. Really cool and big!

Yes I've seen these guys while looking for the other Solomon Island skink. Used to get my hopes up when I saw the price and then realized it's an entirely different lizard. I think you can still buy them cheap if you can find them. How much was this guy?

I didn't look I'll let you know. They were a bit shy and secretive but I bet they'd come around, skinks are smart.

Another similar skink that can sometimes be found in the pet trade. https://www.iucnredlist.org/species/195 ... phic-range Sometimes informally called the Solomon Island Tree Skink. Lots of cool skink species on those islands.
