Is there anyone here working with Solomon Island monkey tail skinks? There is little activity lately on the Corucia forum at myfreeforum. Not that I don't love all you guys too...

I looked into them a while back, and it doesn't seem like too many people have been making them available although I have seen a few on faunaclassifieds. They fetch $1000+ a piece lately from what I can tell and unfortunately many are of mixed locales since the locale weren't readily known when they were being kept and bred in larger numbers.. They are very cool animals. I have seen a few in person at various zoos and aquariums, but have never been able to handle one. It would be a very cool project for someone who wants to really invest in them.

There's some info in this thread that you might want to look at.

Thank you all! I do have two pairs of these and they are truly fascinating animals. I found a Facebook group devoted to Corucia which is still active. Since they are no longer being imported from the wild and they reproduce very slowly then are never doing to be widely available nor inexpensive.
