thought id start a thread showing some cunningham skink varieties,so dont be shy in adding any,theres a lot of different forms

4 month old southern victorian variety

only have adults of the vic ones,so bare with me and ill get some pics up of those

new england tablelands,northern nsw

the vic form lose the spots as they grow,still show some faintly though

Your new England's are developing nicely. I still ave my breeding colony plus now I have some more new englands from a different line. They are a bit different to my original line. I also have some Sydney sandstone cunninghams. They were sometimes referred to as Egernia cunninghami kreftii. Quite different looking to other varieties . Less spikey and smaller. I think Cunninghams are very underrated .

very under rated,would love to get some more varieties

Richard, I was visiting a reptile dealer not to long ago.. and they had 2 Cunninghams that were just straight dark grey, with a little shade of red-brown around the throat area.. would do you suspect that locale would be?

not real sure,wouldnt like to guess with out seeing a pic,could be the common variety,though most have pattern to them,have a look on google pics and see if theres a similar one there,there range is quite large as is the variety of them

some qld ones look predominantly black

only greyish ones i can think of was some silver and black banded new england ones that used to see in melb pet stores a few years ago,havnt seen any since though unfortunatly

the 4 month old baby in my earlier pic,its parents look the same,typical Victorian but probably similar in southern nsw and sa as well,hard to pin point a locality ,so southern form

i think they are the cheapest spiney tailed egernia over there

Could be true.. but you see them for about $500, though..

No worries , it will be a couple of season before the Sydney ones breed . I can send you some pics if you like to post them on this thread.

2nd pic is an unrelated new England form to diversify his bloodline of current new England forms

they look great occi,love the contrast of the sydney sandstone forms,very cool

They are nice Richard, thanks for posting. Sandstone cunninghams are quite different. I wouldn't be surprised if they are re classified if they already haven't been. Like I said, they used to be referred to as kreffti in older text.
I am looking forward to getting some Vic specimens. I miss keeping them and love their large size.

Those are awesome Richard! Wish Cunninghams weren't so picky as to who you put with them...well, wish that in general about the egernia...

I would really like to have a group of Cunninghams again, if I had more room (especially some like that!)...maybe they could hang outside here with the right setup? Hmmm... Might have to try a Stokesii outdoor project to see how that works out...

couple more shots of juvie vic cunningham,he recently shed,well still going but u can see hes losing speckle look already and taking on adult coloration all ready
