Bandit the PTS!

As promised (though a few hours late) here are some updates on Bandit the PTS. Bandit is very shy. He was definitely a runt as he was much smaller than all the other babies for sale out of the same litter. He has only recently started noticeably growing but it seems like he is all tail. I got him last October and he was at most 2 months old at that time. He lives on a steady diet of snails (canned) and a serving of Coomassie's dogfood and veggie mix once a week. He LOVES dogfood and he is hilarious.

We didn't for a long time. I got him in October and I'm pretty sure he decided to burmate right there and then. I think I got maybe two meals into him and then we didn't see him until march. Now, he is out a lot. He has a cork log that he hangs out on top of and a piece of drift wood that he climbs all over like a mad man. I'm working on hand taming him right now. They "huff" just like a blue tongue but he is so tiny that it is just funny to watch. He huffs so hard he bounces. He also knows when food is coming and usually comes out to wait for it.

Thank guys!

Stacey, good luck finding one. I've got to a lot of reptile shows and I found him at a random show. Apparently the guy (not the breeder) can into a bunch of babies and then sold out really quickly. I managed to snag one and I haven't seem them since. If you ever do see one, snap it up when you have the chance.

He is still a baby (he is growing really slowly or has up to this point). They max out around 15 inches so he still has some growing to do.

Also, there are currently two ads for PTS on kingsnake. I have never seen a shortage of them. There are not a lot of people breeding them regularly, but that is mostly because there is not much demand for them. It's too bad because they are really cool lizards. It seems like more people would want them.

Norm that picture is great!

Jeff, I had never seen one at a show. I knew there were people breeding them and they could be found online but in person was a bit harder.

I saw them at a show in San Jose a few years ago (two people there had them), then I saw them at a show in Phoenix once. They are definitely not common, just not too hard to find if you look for them.
