DNA sexing?

The other day my mom asked if I could have my skinks DNA sexed like a parrot. Sounds like a possibility but I figured if anyone knew, it would be some one here. Your thoughts on the idea? I plan on emailing a couple companies who do the testing and see what they have to say.

I don't know anything myself, but the BTS bible says BTS aren't a single-chromosome-sex (not X/Y). It says because of this blood testing for gender doesn't work.
