Hey everyone,
I'm new to Blue Tongue Skink ownership and I've been doing a lot of reading, but I still have some questions about typical BTS behavior. I'm hoping some experienced owners can shed some light.
Specifically, I'm wondering about:
* **Shedding:** How often should I expect my skink to shed, and what are some signs that shedding is imminent? What can I do to help make the process easier?
* **Brumation:** Is brumation common for Blue Tongue Skinks kept indoors? How do I know if my skink is trying to brumate, and what changes should I make to their care if they are?
* **Eating Habits:** How often should I be feeding my juvenile skink, and what are some signs that they're getting enough (or not enough) food? Are there certain foods that are particularly good for promoting healthy growth?
* **Handling:** How often should I handle my skink, and are there any best practices for minimizing stress during handling?
