Hey everyone! I'm planning an upgrade for my blue tongue skink's enclosure and wanted to hear some ideas from the community. I currently have a 40-gallon breeder, but I'm thinking of going bigger – maybe a 4x2x2 enclosure.
What kind of substrate do you guys use? I've been using coconut coir, but I'm open to suggestions. Also, what are some good plants and decorations to include to make the enclosure more enriching?
I'm also curious about heating and lighting setups. I'm using a UVB bulb and a basking bulb, but I'm always looking for ways to improve.
Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!.

Re: Blue Tongue Skinks - Enclosure Ideas.
Hi there. 4 by 2 by 2 is always better. However, the bigger the floor space the better. I have my skinks on Zilla Jungle Mix with Reptibark on top. I use Retisun or Arcadia UVB and basking bulbs at correct temperature. Good luck!
