Finally the Canon 90D (32 mpix)

This is one I've been waiting for some over 2 years, my old Cano 40D (10.4Mpix) is still a fine camera, and my wife's Canon SX730HS is really nice ( 20Mpix) but I've been waiting for a 3x to 4x step up in resolution from 10Mpix in an good quality D*0 series rather than D*00 or D**0 canon DSLR for a while , with built in popup flash ( so D* series camera are out) and a reticulated high res lcd screen * good video capability but a at a sensible price, and I'm not really interested in going to full frame DSLR or Mirrorless digital , swapping to another brand ( I have lenses I want to keep on using ).

Upgrading is not worth doing unless you can get a 3x to 4x gain in resolution and exhanced / expanded features IMO , so I've waited.


I'll wait a few months for the craziness to die down when the 90D hits the shops, and will likely buy mine on the Grey Market or when the big sales are on after Xmas.
