Hi guys! I've been a bit inactive, but only because I've been helping a new family member settle in to his routine. I've never had one of these guys and wanted to see what all the fuss was about, so I picked him up from our local reptile expo a couple weeks ago. Everybody, meet Mushu!

Ah, yes, bearded dragons...awesome pets, I produced many a few years back and my favorites all reside with friends now. Best of luck with your new friend!! I kept them for over 20 years so I can also help you out if any questions.

He's a handsome boy..... Welcome to the wonderful world of beardies.

I've had both bluetongues and central beardies as uberspoilt and much loved pets for about 5 years and both species are fantastic as pets.

My bluetongues George and Mildred (anyone who likes pommie TV comedies/siccoms will know why I named them these names - especially after Mildred bashed up George one day in his hide when they were both little, yes I immediately separated the pair after that) are both snugglers as well as all my beardies .

My beardies and BTs are all be very affectionate and darned cleaver buggers too and all have individual personalities. All love free ranging inside the house ( but I never let 2 beardies out together or the two BTs out together, though I do regularly let a BT and beardie out together, being similar sizes as adults and they seem to get on OK , well they do their own thing , unless I toss a superworm onto the floor or the bluetongue decides it's thirsty (BT will gave big guzzle and beardie will trot over to see what's going on and watch)).
