Good GOD, Kyle -- your myspace is SOOOO SLOW and full of CRAP. The main reason I hate the entire website. :lazy:

Maybe your Internet connection and/or computer is slow and full of crap, because it loads fine for me. :edward: Which would just go to show I was on to something, because MySpace is actually pretty graphics-light. It's the garbage people put on it (like cross-linked photos and videos) that slow down access and will put a strain on old computers and slow connections. You know, the kind in your house. :hehe:

Well, enjoy your dial-up access and Windows 3.1, anyway, Zoochster. :nanny:

Command line was fun, right?

Um, no. No it wasn't.

I can't stand Myspace, bebo or facebook. All it is is a place for people to talk about themselves and post photos of themselves  I hate the way people are so self centred, the whole "It's all about ME!!" really tickles* me off.

The "about me," stuff is fine if you're presenting something to the public that is worth it. I really couldn't give two shakes what people think about me, and my MySpace is evident of that. There's people who use it to present just themselves, and if they're boring and lame, then yes, it sucks.

That's why I hate Twitter so much, where you just tell people what you're doing every 15 minutes. How stupid is that? No one is that interesting. No one.

I have a Stickam account for my music project and MySpace to keep in touch with people I know all over and don't talk to much, and to disturb the world and write.

Yeah, I don't know about that!

I love facebook -- you can't customize the pages with colors and awful music that blares the second it loads, and I've found so many people I knew growing up that I very well never would have talked to again...plus, my own mother is on it now who lives far away. That turns into a good thing when you get older!

Musicians can't use Facebook for anything useful, so I have determined it sucks. :edward:

heh, I just got a facebook yesturday.... so much better than myspace. Myspace takes hours to find your friends..... Facebook does it all for you in seconds 8)

Andlike Zach said you cant customise your page which is great.... I dont have to worry about my page being boring.

Ah well. I'm not really a people person so don't really want to get in touch with people from my past

People from my past contact me and I ignore them most of the time. I just don't care. I'm not a human fan either but I'm pretty amazingly good at dealing with them if necessary.

Facebook has one evil trick up its sleeve. If you decide to quit, the terms you signed up upon using your email address (meaning, privacy, they will "not share your information") becomes null and void. I had facebook for about three days until I said, "Why am I setting this up? It's useless with all the other stupid crap I do." I quit, and within HOURS my inbox was FLOODED with about 30 bogus spam messages. Since they do not sell advertising I think this is the way they make money, they sell parts of their email lists.

Ive only just signed up for MySpace....
Personally I think its crap for most things, I dont see the point in spending all day on it, or wasting time personalising it too much.....
But it has helped me find Interstate friends i had lost contact with with my interstate moves.
For that reason, I like Myspace.....

I've always hated MySpace, but I don't really mind Facebook.

I'm not the type to be on it for hours at a time, I don't really understand that. However it's just an easy means to keep in contact with friends and see what's going on with people, plus sharing photos. I might check it every other day or so. ^^;

I mainly use it now to keep up with people from my old school and people I know that have moved away. And mobsters.
