Blue Tongue Skink Brumation - Questions and Experiences!

Hey everyone!
My BTS, Chompy, is starting to show signs of brumation and I wanted to open a thread to discuss everyone's experiences and ask a few questions. He's been less active the last few weeks, eating less, and spending more time hiding.
I'm new to BTS ownership (got him about 6 months ago) and a little nervous about this whole process. I've read up on brumation, but hearing firsthand experiences would be super helpful.
Here are my questions:
* How long does brumation typically last for your BTS?
* What changes do you make to their enclosure during this time (temperature, lighting, etc.)?
* How often do you offer food and water?
* Are there any signs I should be looking out for that might indicate a problem?
