Possibly getting, help identify?

Postby Janella » Wed Oct 04, 2017 6:07 pm

Hey guys,

I may pick this guy up. Told it is 4 years old. Only been fed egg, fruit, and veggie. Thoughts?? Looks like a Halmahera, but then someone else said Merauke. I am still learning so I am not to sure. Any help I would appreciate it.

Looks Halmahera to me. Get it the heck off that substrate! Looks very small for its assumed age.

Halmahera.
Doubt it's 4 years old.
Needs more humid substrate, try cypress mulch.

Unfortunately, I may not end up with this baby. I was supposed to pick it up today, but now my oldest daughter is severly sick and I can't make the hour drive up there :-(. The owner has another person interested as well and may go with them now instead. I just hope if they new person gets it, they know what they are doing...
Feeling sad :-(

Oh no! I hope your daughter gets better.
There are a few Halmaheras for sale. Let me know if you want me to point you their way.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I wasn't planning on getting another skink, but this little one needed help, so I thought I try.
