More Pink Tongues!

Postby StaceyLeigh » Fri Nov 04, 2016 5:43 am

So I have been adding to my Pink Tongue Skink group this year. Now up to 6. Mainly in search of the elusive female, lol.. I have 2 adult males, 1 sub-adult probable male, and 3 new juvies (there better be a female in there). Just really love my PTS, very interesting to watch in the habitat, much more active then my BTS. Here are some pics to enjoy.

I'm really loving these guys more and more. And yours are beautiful!

I haven't got a great deal of information on keeping them. What diet do you find good for them and what kind of set up? (arboreal right? and humidity?)

Lovely group Stacy. You know I'm praying you get a female. Really interested to see what our Czech siblings will produce in the future.

Do pink tongues "like" being handled as much as blueys do? I'm considering getting one of these but I would prefer ease of handing above any specific species.

Babies can be really jumpy. Adults are very calm and sweet. Personally I think they can be calmer than blue tongues. Pinks are a very underrated species.
