Reptile Art
Since there are so many creative people here, an art thread is definitely in order!
I thought it would be best to make it 'reptile' art rather then just 'bluey' art, that way we can include a larger group of people and variety
(Ill start off? Haha~)
My first attempt at something non - furry and non-human - A centralian~ Its based off of one of the photos from the centralian page here on BTS.
Then a Goldfields shingle, based off of Acanthurus' gorgeous little baby~
And finally one of Jeffs adorable baby Star torts!
All were made using Photoshop CS4

Well I don't have any 'reptile' art, per sey, however seeing as this is the off topic thread, I'll post my other reptillian art.
If we can call dragons reptiles that is ;D!
A pernese gold watchwher I had for an old Roleplay forum of mine (excuse the ugly watermarks there, I am a bit paranoid about getting my art ripped off. Its happened before)
A gift for a friend of mine of her Bone dragon character, likewise used on a roleplay forum.
Hopefully soon I'll actually get some reptile reptile art up and be able to show some drawings of my bluey and ball python

Nae, I've said it before, but wow, awesome work. Your digital drawings rock my socks!
Toxique, Watchwhers are such ugly creatures. Nothing like their graceful and beautiful cousins the Dragons and Fire Lizards. All hail Ramoth and Mnementh! That's some great art! I love the smoke clinging to the Bone Dragon, very neat.

Aaah! Finally another pern fan! And I know, that's why I love whers so much; simply because they're the stumpy ugly cousins of the pretty dragons and firelizards. That and they actually have the gall to attack a human when pressed, their feralness always drew me to them. But I do love dragons as well
(I'll start linking my stuff due to the majority not being 'reptile' now too)
http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x204 ... agreen.jpg Here's a pernese dragon to me. I try seeing mine more equine in body shape, as anne described them, but that's HARD to draw.
http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x204 ... sketch.jpg One of my personal characters, octopus dragon! All in sketch mode
http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x204 ... /husha.jpg Transformers! My decepticon Lamborghini
http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x204 ... ater-4.jpg
Finally, that last link, and an explanation why I'm posting so much (not meaning to take over the topic, really!) in this post. I'm an artist through and through, or I try to be. For college I'm majoring in game art and design, I'm just now starting to expand my prortfolio (getting into sculpture/character designs) and once this next year is out, I'll be diving really hard into my major. Art is a huge portion of my life, so I always get pretty zealous when I'm pressed about it! Thanks for hearing me out guys

WonderingChai - Ive considered putting up prints of some of my art as a way to fund my uni portfolio actually, but Ill have to convince mum to let me use her Paypal, haha~
BTSspartan - Hmmm, Im not really sure, I mean it is art in its own way, but I was thinking along the lines of digital paintins, real paintings, drawings, oil pastels etc. You could start up your own thread? Im sure everyone would be interested

@Critterguy: OMG that is AMAZING!!!!!
I've had no luck with bluey drawings/paintings so far, but i've only been doing painting real pics for a few months. Just an FYI, if you have seen these before, its because i'm on DA as gargoylegardens
I also drew/cg'd the skink head that is my avatar. SOrry about the huge pics, i dont know how to resize them in IMG form.
