Breeders of 'the rare ones' in the states?

Postby splashy07 » Thu Feb 09, 2017 2:50 pm

Anyone breeding melanistic Easterns or shinglebacks here in the states? Future retirement plans will have me working with reptiles 24/7 and would like to add to my collection. Haven't found anyone willing to part with either regardless of breeding success, just figured I'd throw it out there.

I believe Tyler Park has some hyper melanistics. They're not cheap though. He has a Facebook page I think it's Ty's Lizards.

I would love to see anyone with Shinglebacks in the US. I know they're super rare, but they are so cool! Makes me want to move to Australia! 8)

Casey Lazik at http://www.reptilia.com/ breeds shinglebacks, but I have no idea about prices or availability

Thanks for the replies, I will follow up. Spoke with Jeff Greene about shinglebacks, he breeds them but will not part with any, I sure don't blame him, neither would I. And....if it were not so difficult and I were not so old I would probably persue a move to Australia myself. Only downside to that is I could not possibly deal with seeing a BT as roadkill on the way to work. Have a great day, all.
