Theres a link to my skink breathing weird also dont mind the paper towels I know.. He recenetly had an abcess removed off the bottom of his tail the vet told me to put him on paper towels until its healed..

I think another visit to the vet will be in order ....

What substrate was he on previously? What's your hot and cool end temperatures? How often does he do this, or is it constant?

While the folks here might be able to give you some advice, Definitely get him seem to by a professional.

His hot end is 95 and colder end is at 75 humidity is around 50% and he was on repti bark he was at the vet dismorning they said it's a respitory infection similar to ammonia and he was diagnosed was septicemia and they said that could be the reasoning behind it and also he is having antibiotic shots every other day
He also just started that last night after he ate I thought he might get f had some food lodged in his throat or something

Oh jeez, I am sorry to read this? Are you taking him to a reptile vet or is he going still to the regular vet (dog/cat vet). I am very concerned about your skink.

The clinic I've been taking him to is more for dogs/cats but the vet that's caring for my lizard I know him personally and I have good trust in him he actually knows his reptiles I hope but I've been considering getting a different opinion from another doctor.
I'm getting pretty bummed though he was doing really good he's gained a majority of his weight back been very active and now he's got another problem, it never ends I just hope he lives I'm doing everything I can for the little guy

I am glad to hear you trust your vet and he knows reptiles, but I personally think it may be time to seek the advice and exam from a reptile specialist. Is there one close to where you live? I really hope you can get down to the bottom of what is going on with your skink and it pulls through. Prayers

Yeah I'm really bummed I know he knows I did everything I could do for him
