Hibernating in August?

Our BTS is 6 yrs old. Recently she started acting like she is hibernating. She doesn't come out or eat. It's been a week now. We know this is normal winter behavior but we haven't seen her do this in August before! The UV light is only 2 months old and the basking lamp is on all day.
Is this just something they do every now and again?
