Hello
Berry recently just shed and I noticed this little dent which I think was there before just less noticeable. It was definitely there when I got her from the store. Any ideas what it could be? Also has this little black dot in the middle. Her behaviour is still the same, still active.

Re: Dent in head
She's most likely been bitten by another BT when little in a tub full of siblings and other similar aged babies at the breeder or in the petshop, and it probably dented her skull. Looks like an old healed injury to me.
If she's fine, it's not an issue and she'll likely have it for life, as she grows and becomes an adult it'll likely fade / smooth out and become less obvious.
George was bitten on the head by Mildred when they were little , actually lost that scale and one next to it entirely , took months to heal and he was none the worse for it. Can still see the scare though.

That's a parietal eye. All bts have that. It's not a dent or an injury. Perfectly normal. A parietal eye, also known as a third eye or pineal eye, is a part of the epithalamus present in some animal species. The eye is photoreceptive and is associated with the pineal gland, regulating circadian rhythmicity and hormone production for thermoregulation.

Re: Dent in head
I see no damage to the area. There's nothing abnormal going on with scales. OP said they noticed it after a shed. No mention of being housed with others. And if that was the case there would be much more damage to the scales. Included a pic of one of my skinks.
