I have a northern BTS [my first] that's probably a little over 6 months old now. He is friendly and active and healthy, but recently I noticed one of the scales on his head looks like it's been scratched off. It's hard to get a picture, but I can't find anything else that looks similar when I look up ''scale rot'' or anything. It doesn't look like an infection or mites- just as if the top of it has been scratched off. As far as I know this came about sometime during his last shed, but the shed otherwise went fine, no retained skin or anything.
He has a bit of sandstone in his viv to help with shedding- maybe he just scratched himself too hard when shedding? Is that typical? A symptom of shedding problems?
Should I be worried about it, or just leave it alone to heal itself? There's a reptile specialist right down the road from me, so there's no issue getting him to a vet if I have to.
Thanks guys.

I've been trying to get one, but he won't stay still long enough unfortunately. It's whitish and part of the scale looks like it's missing.
I'll keep trying to get a decent photo.

I finally managed to get him basking. Usually he shuffles off if I hover around with a camera.
ETA: better picture.
If it's too blurry I can break out my good camera, but those whiteish spots on his head are what's worrying me. The worst one is on the left above his eye. It looks a little indented, like it's scratched off.

A better photo would help, is there anything in his tank he could've bumped his head on? i would suggest messaging kingofknobbys as he is very knowledgeable, im no expert to be honest.

Check your temperatures .
I can't see an issue worth worrying about.

It seems to be healing on it's own now so I think he just scratched off a scale during his shed. Thanks for the reassurance :]
My temps are 35C warm side and 25C cool side.
