Re: Post Pictures of Your Skinks: Part II
Thanks
He's a high-patterned lowland Blotched BTS. Easy way to remember them is they look a bit like leopard print camouflage.
Lowland = Black and brown/tan colours, with some very southern variants even displaying a grey colour such as Phillip Island and Tasmanian localities
Highland = Greater black with yellow (mostly within highlands Victoria up to the Snowy Mountains periphery)
Highland Alpine = Greater black with orange/pink (Victoria and NSW Snowy Mountains region and periphery)
There's a great directory of visual examples on one of the forum threads here also.

Re: Post Pictures of Your Skinks: Part II
IvanDanko, he has such a cute round nose!
I mentioned my 'leg biting skink' in another thread. Thought I might as well just post the gifs here.
Skink logic:
- Crawl over half a kilo of blueberries, just to get one (1) blackberry
- You feed me blackberries = YOU ARE THE BLACKBERRY *chomps*
The last gif he's like: I was obviously licking your leg, my jaw just slipped... *awkwardly looks away*
(And yes, I enjoy teasing him quite a bit.

Re: Post Pictures of Your Skinks: Part II
Noodle has finally outgrown his basking hide and I am now in need of acquiring another XD
He's 22" now. I'm thinking I'm going to pick up some slate rock from a hardware store or gardening store and either silicon the slabs together or using cement/grout.

He definitely needs the extra surface area
Also FYI slate etc. is actually quite easy to break into smaller pieces to make a DIY mound/platform if it saves you buying several perfectly sized smaller pieces. There's a few youtube videos if you go down that path.

My first skink - say hi to Durin!
He's a Halmahera (CBB) and he is a bit feisty, but super curious about his surroundings.
He is 5 months old now and already so big!

Re: Post Pictures of Your Skinks: Part II
This is Sushi roll. He is CB (not CBB) has a great personality and is super cute. All his siblings had defined black bands but his pattern is much different then them. We bought him as a sorong locality I’m not sure about his exact sub species though he looks so different!
he is really cute though and has a fantastic friendly personality!

This is Kermit and we believe he's a Indonesian possibly a Halmahera??
Is that correct. P.s we have changed his substrate etc as our local reptile store sold us the wrong bits and bobs.

This is my Northern Audie's enclosure, a 40 gallon breeder (I do plan to upgrade when he/she gets a bit bigger.)
Edit: I thought I posted this in the enclosure pics, eep.
