The Merauke Crew

I had everyone take a spin outside for a few shots.

Little Lucy is deep in shed, of course, there always has to be one in shed on picture day :)

Thanks guys! I DO try to populate the world with them ;) ...not that they are cooperating much yet this season :( May be a lean year over here if things don't pick up; although, we are just at the beginning of mating season ...we better be at the beginning! ;)

He doesn't always; most of the year he's much more subtle in his coloring.

Thank you also for all of your efforts on this forum as well. Your information and posts are really helpful.

We also really appreciate all of your help in the beginning getting us set up, too. Zipper and Scout are doing great. (My) Susan and I are going to try and post some updated pics soon.

How's that boa doing?

Thanks guys! I appreciate the appreciation ;)

Aaron, the boa is ornery as ever! I can still barely talk about it without tearing up, but she's actually leaving next week :( Got a friend who is going to either keep Indie herself, or let her go to one of her boa breeder friends. It has been an emotional roller coaster to say the least. I'm in debt to you and Susan for your help with Indie; as hard as the decision has been, I would've been much more guilt-ridden without your guys' knowledge and support. So I thank you again. :)

You're totally welcome, Sue!
I'm sorry that we all couldn't get Indie under control, but you are absolutely doing the right thing! You did everything you could. Don't feel bad.
In the end, remember though, you're the Merauke Mama and you've been tasked with populating the earth with bright orange lizards! That's a big job and a cranky boa would just get in the way.
