Hmmm...ground meat is definetly a bit less goopy than most canned foods.

For those of you feeding this diet, how do you guys supplement?

On weekdays I blend RepCal-No D3 into the mix with the veg, on Weekends I blend RepCal With D3 and Herptivite in.

Also-after doing some dogfood research-their is apparently semimoist kibble(35% or so moisture content) out there. Perhaps best of both worlds? I wonder how the composition of pelleted reptile diets people on here have tried compare?

Also-has anyone on here been concerned with the relatively high fat in dog food?(with exception of foods geared towards weight loss) Most formulated reptile diets include very little fat(5% or so in all the ones I've seen). Dog foods generally contain about 10% if not more.

Anyone have experience using this or similar for food? My guy has taken a few pieces quite readily. Brand reccomendation would be nice also. Seems a lot cleaner than him diving into a plate of canned.

I use it quite often, but I soak it in water first. I like Nutro.
