Can someone identify this skink?

Postby Lordrevan216 » Sun Aug 27, 2017 4:25 pm

I bought a pink tongued skink at a reptile sho in Portland Oregon, but while we were driving home I noticed when he tasted the air his tongue looked blue. So I called the shop I bought him from to ask about that they said the juveniles tongued are black while they are young. Is this true? They said he was only 6-7 months old.

Yes tongues are blue when born and turn pink as they mature.
