With my trio I am lucky as my male is lighter in colour than my females. But generally speaking, the male is a bigger animal, the head is longer and narrower than the females. As with most
Egernia the differences are only subtle.
I took a couple of comparison pictures this morning, I don't know how helpful they are but here we go.
They really hate handling, took a bit of time for them to settle for the pics.
These guys are from the late Mike Moore's line( most Kings in collections on the east coast are). As far as I'm aware, none of the pretty limestone speckly ones have been captive bred in the east.
